| | The 3rd annual Mizuno Football Cup in Cebu last September 13-14 was held in the University of San Carlos (TC) football field in Talamban. The event was co-presented by the CEBU FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.
It was attended by over 2,600 participants from 206 teams separated into 14 divisions according to age and gender. |

The first MIZUNO INFINITY RUN, this will be a 5, 10, 15 kilometer run open to all runners. More than 70,000 pesos in cash and Mizuno items to be won!

| | Registration will start on March 11, 2008 in any Mizuno store and any Mail & More branche in NCR. - Race packs can be claimed starting March 15, 2008 in any Mizuno store. Race pack includes race number, map of the route and race information. *Runners can claim their packs on the day of the race. If possible, please claim your kits before the run.
IMPORTANT:
1. Upon registration, runners will be given an ACKNOWLEDGMENT RECEIPT. They will need this to claim their race packs. *NO A/R NO RACE PACK.
2. Do not forget your race number on the day of the race. NO RACE NUMBERS, RUNNERS ARE CONSIDRED UNREGISTERED.
3. Start of race is 6:00 am. Please come early.

In a Running rut? Need motivation to exercise? Try something new!! What: Mizuno Run Club is Mizuno's newest interactive activity which welcomes everyone, serious athletes, fitness buffs, and novices looking to keep fit and have fun at the same time. Mizuno RP Team Triathlete Ige Lopez will conduct sessions regularly, demonstrating the proper way to run, pre and post running warm-ups and cool downs, proper stretching, effective diet/ nutrition tips, how to build endurance, as well as any other questions participants may have. Sessions will include jogging a 3k route around the Fort, however, pace will vary depending on participants capabilities and objectives. After sessions refreshments will be provided as well! All Run Club Members will be part of the Mizuno database, where they will be regularly informed of sales, promos. and events, and receive discounts and freebies.
Where: The Mizuno Run Club will begin and end at the Mizuno Bonifacio Highstreet boutique, at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
When: 7:00 pm, every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month

| | Last May 19 and 20, all footballers gathered at the Manila Polo Club. From baby footballers to serious adult ones, everybody displayed their skills and team spirit for the Manila Mizuno Cup. The event was a success, to say the least.

Here's an invite to join the 7-A-SIDE leg of the Castrol World Cup Pilipinas this Sunday 20 June: the Century Tuna Cup Pilipinas. To register your teams, call 994-2832. Registration fee is P2,000 per team, to include a maximum of 12 players (including subs). Teams may be composed of men and women. A total value of P15,000 worth of cash and prizes will be awarded from 1st to 3rd placers. Deadline for signing-up is Friday June 18, 3 PM.
The weekend will also feature the grand finals of the month-long 11-a-side tourney, matching up our final four teams against each other.
Come and be at your best 'cos there will be lots of media coverage and a tourney victory party for all, afterwards.
Let's support World Cup Pilipinas, which is a vehicle for our advocacy to create more public football fields. This is the first time this is happening at the CCP Complex. The fields are not yet in top shape but are in playable condition. The more we hold events at locations such as this, the more we encourage the promotion of football to the public at-large.

sgufc wrote on May 24, '10 We would like to announce that Sunken Garden United is now accepting registration for a limited number of slots to the 1st WORLD CUP PILIPINAS football tournament (dunno why, but Americans call it "Soccer"). The tourney sked is every weekend from May 29 up to June 20, with over P40,000 worth of prizes and awards/ plaques for all participants. A fellowship night for all teams will be held on the last night with a Reggae World Party. Be part of Philippine football history, now! UNIFORMS WILL BE PROVIDED to signify which country you are representing. Register early so proper uniform measurements can be taken. Games will be held at the CCP gounds for the first time, where 2 fields are being prepared. Call 994-2832 for details. Spread the word. |
